Permanently Marking The Impermanent
Art for the mind, body, and soul.
Every design tells a story. Discover the magic of custom tattoos crafted with purpose, passion, and care.
My name is Lindsey Chevalier and I’ve been immersed in the art of tattooing for 7 years now. I am currently located in Kansas City, MO at Golden Stag Tattoo.
I pride myself on being a well rounded artist in style and subject matter. While I may have my favorites, I believe it’s important to step outside the bubble of comfort and continually push to grow in skill and knowledge. Each style has a specific skill set required to execute it. All together these skills make an artist stronger and give a better understanding of how to create not only a good tattoo, but a piece that will age well over time.
If I’m being specific to styles, I would say that I’m most known for my illustrative and color realism work. I have a strong passion for traditional imagery as well. I love to tattoo all things nature related with touches of whimsy and magic. My goal is for people to walk in the door and feel like they’re visiting a friend.
Overall, I’m proud and honored to give people beautiful artwork that they love, and inspires them to love themselves just a little bit more.

Examples of my work
Color Realism
A realism tattoo is a style that creates lifelike, photographic details on skin. Focusing on smooth gradients and deep contrast to achieve depth and dimension. These pieces typically require multiple sessions.
Illustrative
An Illustrative tattoo is a style that looks like a detailed drawing or painting with techniques like varied line weights, stippling, and smooth shading. This style often portrays fantasy and storybook art.
Traditional
A traditional tattoo is a classic style defined by bold black outlines, a limited color pallet, and simple iconic imagery. Designed for longevity and high contrast on skin.
Black and Grey
A black and grey tattoo uses only black ink, diluted with water to create varying shades of grey for soft gradients, depth, and realistic effects. Avoiding color for a timeless, monochromatic look perfect for detailed portraits, nature scenes, or realism styles. Relying on masterful shading and contrast for dimension.
